Towering Experience
October 3, 2017 – Right after our presentation at the IAEA
2017 Annual Conference, me with CEM colleagues went out for dinner. Our
destination – Alphabet Tower.
The Alphabet Tower is one of the famous structures in
Batumi, Georgia, and is located at the Miracle Park. The tower symbolizes the uniqueness of
Georgian alphabet and people. Its design
resembles a DNA molecule with two helix containing the 33 letters of its
alphabet. Georgian alphabet is one of
the 14 ancient alphabets in the world.
Towering at 135-meter high, it has two elevator in the
middle leading to very top of the structure, the crown. The elevator is made of glass at the sides
which enables passengers to see the beautiful surrounding while going up or
down. The experience was nakakangatog ng tyan, to think that it
goes straight up or down, alang pwedeng
stopover.
At the top of the crown, or sphere, somebody welcomes you
and directs you to another elevator leading to second and third floor of the
structure. Located at the second floor
is the Panoramic Restaurant while at the third one is the Observation Deck. Access to the tower costs 8 Georgian Lari.
We went first at the third floor and we were astonished with
360 degree view of Batumi City and the Black Sea.
Then, we went to the second floor, coinciding the equator of
the sphere and dined for supper.
We had Thai Salad, Risotto and Seafood Platter. Masarap
naman lahat! What we didn’t expect was that the risotto was full with
different kinds of cheese – marami talaga
ata silang cheese! J

While dining, we suddenly felt motion on the floor – the
whole place was revolving slowly! Astig

Syempre pa, after
meal – we had coffee… Kahlua coffee J Nakadagdag ata sa hilo
na dala ng paggalaw ng resto hahaha!!!
