Unfolding the Kingdom of Wonders
For those who would love to experience Egypt and has greater chances of traveling in Southeast Asia, there is an archaeological site which could be of great interest - the Angkor Archaeological Park.
On April 14-18, 2013, Mama and I, together with some travel buddies, went to the Kingdom of Wonders - Siem Reap, Cambodia. I did enjoy the archaeological adventures - witnessing the sunrise at Angkor Wat, getting lost (in a nice way) in the four-faced towers at Bayon, wandering through the crocodile trees at Ta Phrom, admiring (only admiring cause I didn't dare to climb) the steep ascend to Pre Rup central tower, freaking in the scary atmosphere at Bantaey Samre (may nadetect na face sa outer wall yong tab sa picture) and adoring the intricate designs at Bantaey Srei (my personal fave).
All these and more indeed made our trip worth going back. :)
