Fast Food Galore
It wasn't like you're out from your comfort zone with these fast food chains abroad. They are dependable dining places when you're on tour with companions who have diverse taste buds (especially, kids).
We, along with some relatives, had a family trip to Hong Kong last December 2014 and it was quite funny that we didn't even attempt to try any local dining place - I mean, authentic Chinese eatery since we also dined at local fast food chain, at the Cafe the Coral. Anyway, it turned out that we had fast food galore - parang nandito lang sa pinas. ^_^ But though we dined at these fast food chains, which are usually found here in the Philippines, it still brought a new experience due to some "twist".
McDonald's
The most dependable fast food chain. It has a lot of branches in the city and one is just a few meters away from our guesthouse. So, as soon as we arrived in Hong Kong, we had take away from McDonald's. Then our breakfast on the following day (at same place, near our guest house) and still, on the next day at Citygate Outlet in Tung Chung. What was strange - they didn't have soda, just soft drinks.
KFC
After our tiring tour in Lantau Island, we dropped by at KFC in Cameron Street for dinner. Of course, we had fried chicken but what was unusual - we ate with hand gloves making it a really finger food experience!
Yoshinoya
Just before going to the airport, we dined at Yoshinoya, still in Cameron Street, and had our favorite Gyudon Beef Bowl! What's the difference between dining there and here? The utensils used in eating... Here in Manila, you either have spoon and fork or chopsticks. In Hong Kong, I had chopsticks on my right hand and Chinese soup spoon on the left. Tsinita experience!
