Thai/Malay at First Glance
It's funny to know that at first glance I don't look like a Pinoy. I have proven this while inside the main temple of A-ma Temple (in Macau last December 2011) where the fortuneteller tried to persuade me to have my fortune read. Since he doesn't know how to speak English (I was just assuming kasi he didn't speak to me), the first thing he did after an eye contact was to point at the 100 Baht which was framed in his table along with other currencies. I shook my head and the next he did was to point at 10 Ringgit. - Wow Mali pa rin!!!
To make things easier for both of us (para magkaintindihan na kami), I pointed at the 20 Peso bill and told him politely, "I am a Filipino (dahil kuripot din ako hahaha!) and I'm sorry (to decline your business offer hehehe), not interested."
